| You were close, but it's actually 17 hours and 39 minutes to go. I wish you were right though. The anticipation is killing me! | |

I can imagine! I have to be at work at 6:45 a.m., work for a few hours until I get the kids to school and some stuff done around the house (I'm a nanny), then I know I'll just be pacing around and twiddling my thumbs anxiously, counting down until 2:30. I'll get to hear "45" right before I have to leave to pick the kids up. Perfect timing!

DON'T DO THIS, but when I was in high school, I probably would have ditched because I would have been way too excited to sit in a desk and pretend to work for seven hours. BUT DON'T DO THAT! Seriously, how did I ever become a teacher?

Bad Texter + cold = temporary amnesia. Maybe hearing "45" will help brighten your day a little tomorrow. You know, "You found the bandages inside the pen, and the stitches on the radio."

but i hope it will! and i love that line so much. That's one of my favorite lines. It's definitely true for me! Ugh, why do professors assign projects and papers that are due at the same time as finals? I never understood that. Projects should be before midterms and then in between midterms and finals. Space the work and the stress out a little!

| And also, why do they make homework so annoying in the first place. At least at 9 to 5 jobs, you go home and your time is your own.
I can say this now that I'm well out of college.

I can say this now that I'm well out of college. Being finished with college is the best! Homework is stupid and if you aren't learning enough in class, there is something wrong with the curriculum or the teacher or both. And since I am a teacher, I can say this with authority.

| I actually never really minded writing papers, but the mind-numbingly boring reading/ study questions/ bookwork was a pain in the butt.
But once it's all over and you have that diploma, none of it matters anymore because it's done and life really begins. It's a great feeling!

I remember those days. I finished college in a very roundabout way, inluding a transfer, two separate semesters off, and only going part-time for a while. I only have my Associates Degree (it's what I needed in order to be a lead preschool teacher at a prestigious school), so what should have taken 2-3 years ended up taking 4.5. But the main thing is that I finished, and it meant a lot when I did. But it felt like it took FOREVER at the time.

| If I'm being honest, my motivation for doing homework was always the wrong thing- how can I impress the teacher? It wasn't about actually learning. As an old lady I've taken some classes and it's so different. I'm like, actually interested in applying the lessons outside of class. I dunno. Homework from K-College blows. | |
