| Hey! I woke up with those 30 seconds of "45" playing on repeat in my head. I love it! I thought I might wake up less manic and insane...but I was wrong. About 52 hours until we get to hear the whole song! | |

| It's not long. Just distract yourself with other music (and play it loud because it's so much more fun ) | |

| That's exactly what I'm doing. My new record player arrived yesterday and I got it set up this morning. It sounds amazing! She Loves You/Tumbling Dice was the first thing Inlistened to, then Elsie. Elsie sounded like the best thing EVER! My old record player was kind of tinny sounding, but this one is clear and rich and unbelievable! Money well spent. | |

| Ahhh, that's exciting. My record player sounds a little bit tinny, bit there's still so much more depth to the sound than listening to an mp3, for example. How much did it set you back? | |

| My old record player started lacking that depth and wouldn't play certain records, so it was time. I got it on Amazon for about $150, I think. Not too bad at all. Here's the one I got:

| Ooh, that looks sweet! Not a bad price either. I have this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bush-Rpa1-Turntable-With-Radio/dp/B000ADOJ3G It looks really basic but it does what it needs to do and only cost me £50. | |

Do tell! A girl I was with last night for open mic....actually wrote on one of my papers (Ithink it was my setlist page) "I love you", and smiled when she looked at me right after it. I am not taking it as a sign, but it is nice to hear it from someone other than family members.

| Wow, that was a great price, Mike! And I like the look of it too. It's kind of retro 70s - very cool! I love anything that looks vintage or retro. My new record player reminds me of those big old radios from the 40s before TV. So fun! | |

So yeah, I am really not sure about this. I mean she also said "I come to hear you play", wanted to go outside to get some air so she wanted me to text her when I went on, (Me being an idiot didn't realize that she wanted to give her number to me), and then that whole writing "I love you". So yeah, this is kind of confusing. I did Bolevard of Broken Dreams,Backstreets, You've got to hide your love away.

Have you got a video of your set anywhere? I'd quite like to see the cover of Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

Thanks Ilaria It's on The Picture of Dorian Gray and The Great God Pan and how duality is represented in both stories. Think you can manage that?
