I got my Horrible Crowes RSD record in the mail yesterday and listened to it this morning. It's fantastic, of course, no surprise there, but what did surprise me was my dog's reaction to it! I grabbed my camera and documented his emotional ride through I Witnessed a Crime and Blood Loss. (I have way too much free time on my hands lately!)

The record starts playing and it gets his attention.



Scooby singing along to "I Witnessed a Crime". He's digging the chorus.



Once he had enough singing, he became a back-up dancer.



When I flipped the record and "Blood Loss" came on, he immediately got quiet and laid down.



Embarrassed by the emotions he was feeling, Scooby couldn't even look at me.



Before the song even ended, he was overcome and had to go lay on the stairs so he could collect himself. I was going to put Elsie on afterwards, but I didn't think he could handle "Cherry Blossoms". It might have sent him over the edge.

Nice dog Shannon Did he shed any tears during Blood Loss? It's good to know that Brian's writing goes beyond human feelings and can reach the souls of dogs as well. He really is a genius!

Thank you! I think he did shed one or two tears, but Scooby is a manly man and wouldn't let me see. I'm sure Brian would be so touched to know that his music affects my dog so greatly.

Awww, I wondered why there was a dog in the cheetah enclosure in Busch Gardens when we where there, really cool story

Haha, what? I can't even imagine that! My dog would rip the cheetah limb from limb. Very cute story!

I think by the time we had noticed the dog there, we were wiped out from doing 10 rollercoasters in 4 hours, so just went along with the fact that there was a dog in the cheetah enclosure.

Hello bad influences, my 1 day road trip has turned into 3! Post concert depression will be severe this weekend.

That's so cool! I love Busch Gardens. There is one about an hour from my house and it has great roller coasters.

Thanks, Lorraine! He's my baby. My big spoiled monster of a baby.

What happened with your road trip? I hope it lasted longer because you were having so much fun and not because of car problems or anything like that. Post concert depression is sad.

I LOVE ROLLERCOASTERS! I am a junkie for anything fast like that. But...I have back and neck problems and after dealing with a pinched nerve in my neck a few years ago (total and complete nightmare), I have decided to stay away from roller coasters. It's a huge bummer, but I can't risk being whipped around and getting hurt. I have to satisfy my need for speed while driving now.

That's completely understandable, and very sensible of you. Sorry to hear about your problems, I had a messed up back for a long time from skating, but it seems to have healed over time.

First time I was in Orlando, my mate I was with, was scared of coasters, so I hardly got to do any that time. This time however....

It's no fun to go to an amusement park with people who won't ride the cool rides. I'm glad it was a better trip this time!

Yeah, sometimes I just have to be sensible. For the most part my neck and back are fine, I just have to know my limits. I haven't had any significant problems since last summer, so I'm doing okay!

I have to go get some stuff done, but I'll talk to you guys later.

Aw,poor puppy! Scooby does the same thing in the summer. It's too freakin' hot here for about 4-5 months and he gets all mopey like Jimmy and usually only eats one meal a day.

Sometimes I'm worried when Scooby is quiet. I think he's saving his energy and plotting to take over the world. He's that powerful.

Ilaria, Scooby barks like crazy and tries to knock the door down whenever someone rings the doorbell. Oh my gosh, he has sent so many deliverymen and salesmen running for their lives!

Ahhhh I think I might just have caved, and am going to live my dream one more time.
