just because it's will call doesnt mean people can't scalp them.

I've been to shows were people pick up their will call tickets and then proceded to sell em to the highest bidder.

GAH. I wish I were going to be in California for this show.

I got my pre-sale tickets - I was just curious cause a few friends weren't able to get them on Wednesday. Thanks for looking out!

Only the presale are will-call just like it is with Brooklyn. You can get e-tickets on the on sale date.

I don't know any other Gaslight fans in LA though so I think I'm rolling solo to this one. Hopefully not too awkward.

Hey everyone! I'm VERY new to this band (like been listening less than a week haha) but have absolutely fallen in love with them. I'm pretty sure I'll be at this show, and I was wondering what you guys think they'll be playing? On the most recent couple of setlists I've found they play a lot (aka almost 30) songs--do you think they'll play that long of a set at the Roxy? Sorry I'm a novice, but I'm really stoked for this show!!

just kidding, well it’s only a warm-up show, so i doubt they will play for very long.....
and just listen to every single thing every produced from them and you’ll be okay.
you have about 10 days to memorize the songs good luck
the last time they were in LA was in 2010, and as I look at my set list, they play a bit from each album. from slang, to casanova, to boomboxes to ELVIS TO JEANS.

Welcome to the forum! Just wanted to add that since they will be streaming the NY warm up show that should probably give us all some kind of idea about what to expect for LA.

Thanks so much you guys! Regardless of what they play I can't express my excitement haha. I'd do anything to see Great Expectations, and I'm hoping that's a pretty safe bet. Beyond that I'm stoked for anything!

Alright - roll call, who else is going? Its this Friday! Roxy capacity is 450, so there's 449 others out there.

I'll be the tall guy by himself ( ) at the bar who will look really shy then be really into it by the end of the first song. I'm assuming they go on very close to 6 PM ticket time since there's another show at 915...

First post.

I will be there with my friend. We will be dancing our faces off. We were the two guys at the first Gaslight show you went to where you said, "who are those idiots"

I am out of control excited for this.. It's ben quite a while since they have played anything near this small, in LA. Had to have been at the Knitting Factory. I do not understand why they didn't just book this at the Troubadour, considering there is a late show at the Roxy. And asking people to get to the middle of the Sunset strip at 6pm on a Friday is just mean. I have to take the day off work for this. Oh well... ready to party!

I expect to hear a good mix of everything, like always.

WOW is all I can say. I'll recount my experience briefly--I was standing in the will call line and heard them soundcheck Johnny and Cassanova. Right after Brian came out front for a smoke and couldn't have been any cooler chatting with the fans waiting--I even had him sign my Senor 7" since I'd never met him before. Then he went back in and they rehearsed You Got Lucky!!!!
