haha, that is awesome
in other news, i am so fucking sick of this Trayvon Martin case, why the fuck have they not arrested the prick that murdered him yet? im so sick of listening to people jabber on about things that dont matter, he shot and killed an innocent kid. what happened to the days where someone would have shot the killer dead by now?
The main issue is there is not enough evidence yet (which they are trying to find/decide if there is)
like everyone thinks the racist remark is enough. And really the audio tape isn't clear enough to say "he actually said it" in the court of law. There's to much fuzz. It certainly may sound like it, but a lawyer could just argue, "if you are looking for the sound, you will hear it"
If the guy does get off, there will still be changes/new laws put into place. So change will happen.
that's what i mean. all the racist stuff, doesn't fucking matter. like it doesn't matter that Trayvon was suspended from school for possession of a minor amount of pot. what it comes down to, is that some crackjob self-appointed community watchdog (volunteer, mind you, not official) who was carrying a gun (not supposed to be carrying a gun as a community watchdog), hunted down a kid who was just walking home, called 911 on him (he was quite familiar with 911, calling them FORTYSIX times in the last couple of years alone), 911 told him not to approach the kid, he did anyway, and HE SHOT AND MURDERED AN INNOCENT CHILD for no fucking reason. i don't care about anything else, THEM'S THE FACTS AND THE FUCKER NEEDS TO GO TO PRISON.
Well he claimed self defense and the state has a law (stand your ground I believe its called) that allows people to kill if threatened. And apparently he was found all cut up and bloody etc. So I think that's why they are trying to find the racist link, so they can argue the kill was for other motives then defense.
still doesn't fuckin matter! the guy was in his car and called 911 AND THEY TOLD HIM NOT TO APPROACH HIM, THAT POLICE WERE ON THE WAY. so he took the initiative to get out of his vehicle and approach an UNARMED FUCKING CHILD. and he was NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ARMED IN THE FIRST PLACE. i don't fucking care what anyone says or what Zimmerman's bullshit defense is, he hunted and murdered an innocent, unarmed child. fucker needs to pay. i'm seriously getting really pissed off about this now.
Well, it does sound really fucked up. So, just take a deep breath Steph. We don't need you going to the hospital for hyper-convulsing or something...

I think yes, they could charge him on disobeying law enforcement, or carrying a fire arm or some thing like that. But those would be lesser charges and probably be served in probation.
I'm not trying to defend this guy*
From what I know about the case the guy was attacked. he was attacked and so he was allowed to defend himself.
I don't know now if, since he put himself in a bad situation, he can't use the self defense law - but that maybe true and he'll be arrested. I think personally since he put himself in the situation in the first place, he shouldn't be allowed to claim self defense.

well, you're coming about this from a legal point, i'm coming about it from a FUCKER KILLED A KID AND NEEDS TO PAY point, so...
either way, i wouldn't feel bad if someone else shot Zimmerman dead, i'd only feel bad if that person were caught and sentenced to jailtime.

I totally agree with this last statement. I kinda feel bad about feeling that way because normally I think an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, but there are cases like this that I feel are exceptions. I get all fired up over things too, Steph, so don't apologize. It's good to be passionate about injustice.

Even if it was The Group called The Black Panthers? according to the news, The leader of the black panthers has put a bounty on his zimmerman;s head. I agree what Zimmerman did was wrong and uncalled for, but Seriously? The black Panthers still exist?
