Yeah. I had the sim go swimming...I used a cheat to pull him out of the pool, he fell asleep in the pool and poof.... I was having a bad day. I also once had a sim city in sim city 4 suffer a volcano, 3 tornadoes, a huge fire that wiped out 50 buildings, and an earthquake all at once....Once again, I was having a bad day.

So I was like, fuck that, i already have to live my life and take care of myself. I don't need to do it virtual as well.
That sounds stressful, not fun! I haven't played any Sims games since Sims City in...1998 or so.

oh, when i played it, it wasn't in real time. time moved sort of slow for my preference, but no, it wasn't in real time, who would play it like that?! haha. but yeah they wouldn't feed themselves, and you couldn't make babies (so you know what a disappointment that was to me). and you had to work forever at a crappy job/ fishing and selling the fish to make money, in order to unlock the "criminal business" and then it wasn't even any fun anyways. so i quit.

The main issue is there is not enough evidence yet (which they are trying to find/decide if there is)
like everyone thinks the racist remark is enough. And really the audio tape isn't clear enough to say "he actually said it" in the court of law. There's to much fuzz. It certainly may sound like it, but a lawyer could just argue, "if you are looking for the sound, you will hear it"
If the guy does get off, there will still be changes/new laws put into place. So change will happen.

That's how I feel about certain Disney songs! I worked at the Disney Store one Christmas (as one of those annoyingly perky sales associates that I hate!) and it was the same handful of songs all day, every day. I can't stand to hear them now.

that's what i mean. all the racist stuff, doesn't fucking matter. like it doesn't matter that Trayvon was suspended from school for possession of a minor amount of pot. what it comes down to, is that some crackjob self-appointed community watchdog (volunteer, mind you, not official) who was carrying a gun (not supposed to be carrying a gun as a community watchdog), hunted down a kid who was just walking home, called 911 on him (he was quite familiar with 911, calling them FORTYSIX times in the last couple of years alone), 911 told him not to approach the kid, he did anyway, and HE SHOT AND MURDERED AN INNOCENT CHILD for no fucking reason. i don't care about anything else, THEM'S THE FACTS AND THE FUCKER NEEDS TO GO TO PRISON.

I'd probably feel bad. Both^ I'd feel bad for the people in sim city even though they're not real. I'd feel bad playing the same CD over and over. ...although, honestly I couldn't do that, unless it was The '59 Sound or Sink or Swim. Still... I'd need at least SOME variety.

I agree with you Steph. He shot and killed an innocent kid, he needs to be punished. Changes may come from this, like Andrew said, but that doesn't change the fact that a child is dead and it shouldn't have happened. It's a tragic situation.

Well he claimed self defense and the state has a law (stand your ground I believe its called) that allows people to kill if threatened. And apparently he was found all cut up and bloody etc. So I think that's why they are trying to find the racist link, so they can argue the kill was for other motives then defense.

I tend to get stuck on certain albums or certain songs, so if I love them, I don't mind listening to them over and over again. Like for the last week or so, I have been listening to a CD I burned of the Gaslight songs (and covers they have released) that were not on my CDs, like She Loves You and iTunes Sessions. I drive over 200 miles a week for work and it's all I have been listening to in the car. I am so obsessed with The South Has Spoiled Me, the Chamberlain song that Brian sang on.

still doesn't fuckin matter! the guy was in his car and called 911 AND THEY TOLD HIM NOT TO APPROACH HIM, THAT POLICE WERE ON THE WAY. so he took the initiative to get out of his vehicle and approach an UNARMED FUCKING CHILD. and he was NOT SUPPOSED TO BE ARMED IN THE FIRST PLACE. i don't fucking care what anyone says or what Zimmerman's bullshit defense is, he hunted and murdered an innocent, unarmed child. fucker needs to pay. i'm seriously getting really pissed off about this now.
