But it is part of the album just like the album cover, the musician's artistic vision portrayed for everyone to see. I'd argue that while it is true that music is the most important thing at the end of the day, other components can be just as important. There's a reason why when I listen to The '59 Sound, I see grainy, dark blue pictures of nostalgia played in my head and when I hear American Slang I see streets in broad daylight. In a way the cover and title are just as much part of the album as the music is. | |

| Okay, I'm not trying to start anything, I'm just saying that it's hard to develop a full opinion on just a title, which is all we have so far.
Also, I do agree with you John that it is a part of the album, and I pay very close attention to album artwork/track listing/names, but it's hard, for me at least, to say it's a good or bad title when I haven't heard the music that goes with it, you guys know what I mean? |
