- i'll post a photo as soon as i locate the cord that connects my camera to this computer. aww. dogs are the best. i love all dogs. pretty much. there may be an exception or two. there are a couple dogs i take care of on a regular basis that are Shar Peis, they're one of the least attractive dogs i've seen. but they've grown on me...very slowly.
that doesn't surprise me that the Pomeranian is 14, from what i've heard, smaller dogs tend to live a little longer than bigger dogs. although you never know, i read some news story recently about the oldest dog on record, who was somewhere in his 20s. crazy!
Wow, that's really unusual! My dad had a dog growing up, I think she was a dauchshund, and she lived to be about 20. The dog I had growing up was a dauchshund/chihuahua mix and she lived 15 years. The next dog I had was a German Shepherd/Pitbull/Akita mix (he was brilliant, he thought like a person and was so, so sweet). We lost him when he was only eight due to a brain tumor. I thought I was going to die when he passed away. Now we have Scooby. He will be 12 in May, but he still acts like he's two most of the time. It's like he doesn't age! He is really healthy and more active than most Chows (he's a Chow/Husky mix), so I'm hoping he will live for a long time. aww. wow, 20 is pretty old. i had a Golden Retriever/Samoyed that my parents got around the time i was born who died when i was 13. Misfit is 9 now, but i don't think she acts like a "senior" dog. i refuse to think about losing her, i know i will be a wreck. did you see the link to a video i posted earlier today? it's about a guy who has to put his dog down cause the dog is sick. it makes me cry like a baby every single time. pit bulls can be great dogs, it annoys me that they get a bad rap cause of humans, and the way they raise them. also, i took care of a Chow awhile back, she was big and black and fluffy and just the sweetest dog ever.

| I saw the clip, but I couldn't watch it. I would have cried my eyes out for sure! Dogs are like babies, I can't stand to hear sad things about them. It makes me really mad when people talk badly about Pit Bulls too! They are great dogs, it's the owners who are bad. They are very loyal and protective, and that can be turned into something terrible. So wrong. That's funny that you said the Chow you took care of was sweet! Normally when I tell people I have a Chow they ask if he's crazy and aggressive. Sweet is the last thing people normally think of! But Scooby is sweet, he's just insanly animal aggressive and very protective too. I think he has multiple personality disorder! | |

Haha yes we did, although this time around it was far less sketchy and far more enjoyable. Good! If you ever make it up to Northern CA, you should go hiking in the Redwood Forest. Those trees are so beautiful and just amazing. It's like a whole different world.

That's so funny that you hated Debra! I thought she was a great character! I think if I had inlaws like the Barones, I would probably fight with my husband a lot too. Oh no, I hope I didn't just jinx myself with some weird foreshadowing there.

| Nice picture, John! That view is fantastic! Are you sure you want to go back to Sweden and leave all of the wonderfulness of CA behind? You should go to L.A. and get signed by a modeling agency. You could model long-sleeve button down shirts and Levi's jeans. | |
