Exactly, hence my sweeping statement. That guy was something else. ...to think that 30 million is the starting price for him apparently this window...that's a bargin!

Van Persie and Huntelaar have both been on fire this season at their respective clubs, scoring insane amounts of goals.

Van Persie has always been the number 1 pick in the Dutch squad, but he barely ever plays as well as he does with Arsenal and worse, he never scores for Holland. Huntelaar on the other hand, did score a lot during the qualification campaign when v Persie was injured. Generally, the opinion of the masses was that despite v Persie being an amazing player, having Huntelaar as a starter would be more effective. So you'll understand, after the string of dreadful matches we've had lately (including several friendlies before the Euro Cup), the call for Huntelaar became louder.

Huntelaar started as the leading striker today with v Persie behind him, and they both played like wet towels however. Bad tournament was terribad.

For me personally, it's hard to imagine these players continuing with this coach with these tactics after what happened. Not because he's stupid or clueless, but just because this team and its style has proven to be too predictable and weak. Even when we reached the World Cup finals 2 years ago, I thought we played like crap, but hey, if you win, no one complains.

So yeah.

Dissappointing to us go out but Ireland's success story was reaching the tournament in the first place really. Hopefully Trappatoni will blood in a few players to rejuvenate the side and (sadly) replace those veterns who are more than likely to pack it in now, for the World Cup qualifiers.

Spain. I'm only, like, ~5% French and I didn't know that I was part French until I was, like, 18. I've known I'm part Spanish my whole life.

I also know the Spain squad better than France's since I watch Spain more.
