yeah i actually posted a really rough version of one of my songs awhile back. i mean the recording is ok, but i really want to do it over, badly. i also recorded it in an hour to be fair

haha i rather not, first impressions are always the biggest, thats why ive waited so long to record, im so protective of makeing my music the best it can be. If you find it cool. but i dont think you will. it wasnt in spam either.

awesome! and this keyboard is really helping alot

i mean it is out there so if you find it alls fair game, the problem with it is i mess up on the guitar a bunch of times ( slight little errors that most likely i only notice but even still) and my vocals got messed up through out.

i really actually like the song, its the first song ive written where ive gone "i really nailed that one" That doesnt mean i dont mind criticism, i actually hate when people try to protect feelings- thats not going to make me a better writer. I more of like the song because its the first song ive written that, depending who reads the lyrics, they can get different meanings from it.

ive written a bunhhhhh of stuff so once i get a better guitar ill start recording them

I agree with you on the criticism. When people give you their honest opinions, it can definitely help you become a better writer. It just has to be done with tact.

What's the song about? What was your motivation? I love when songs can be interpretted different ways. It makes it so much easier for people to connect with it. Like with Bring It On. Obviously it's about a failed (or soon to fail) relationship between a guy and a girl, but it means something different to me. In the summer of 2010, right after American Slang came out, I went through a bunch of crap with one of my family members and that song got me through. Basically, she was at risk of losing her kids and if that happened, I would have gotten emergency custody. It never did happen, but I wish it had. Not to be cruel to her or anything, but it would have been a much better situation for everyone that way. Anyway, the lines "Give me your fevers that just don't break/ And give me the children you don't wanna raise" and "You've been my baby for so long/ C'mon bring it on" kill me everytime. That song is one of my anthems.
