Which valley? I'm originally from the San Gabriel Valley. YES, the coast is by far the best!

Central Valley, near Fresno. Not exactly the greatest place to be. I love Santa Cruz and Monterey!

I totally agree about Santa Cruz and Monterey. I lived in SC from '92-'96 and it was such a unique, awesome place. Half hippie, half punk.
