That's where I learned about The Grateful Dead! I LOVE Freaks and Geeks. I was like Lindsay Weir in high school, the "good girl" in the bad crowd, but less confused. The link above is to Box of Rain, a song Lindsay listened to on the show. It's my favorite Dead song of all time.

I love the '60s. I was born a generation too late. I am all for peace, love and freedom, basically everything the hippie movement stood for. I lived in a little beach town in central California for four years as a kid in the 90s, but time had basically stopped there, it was still 1967, the Summer of Love, and that's where my fascination began.

Nice!! Yeah I don't usually like female singers but I love her.

She was in Santa Barbara but the tickets sold out too quickly, that was a real shame.

Oh, Warpaint! I was just looking into them! Shannyn Sossamon was their original drummer and I love her! I recommend anything by Fences! From Roses, Boys Around Here, Girls With Accents, take your pick!

i don't know if it's just my computer, but i had to keep reloading the page to get that song to play! honestly, i've never listened to Mos Def, i guess i just thought i probly wasn't into that music, but there is something kinda hypnotizing about the it, the rhythm.

i don't know why i haven't paid much attention to this thread before, i like being exposed to new music!
