| Don't think a day goes by that I don't listen to either Rancid or Op Ivy. Mad love for Tim | |

| Let's Go! is one of my top 5 records of all time. It literally changed my life . . . a true masterpiece.
Everything since Let's Go! has been somewhat of a letdown though. Some good songs here and there but none of their records post-1995 is consistently great from start to finish in my opinion (Indestructible and Life Won't Wait are almost unlistenable to me).
Lars was a fantastic addition to their sound on Let's Go! but his vocals have come to be way too over-embellished and almost laughable (i.e., all twangy and British). The addition of Lars also took a lot of vocals away from Matt, which I think is a shame.
Tim's solo record "A Poet's Life" is also brilliant.
I will never forget my first Rancid show (on the Let's Go tour in 1995). They played the Limelight in NYC with H20 and the Lunachicks. I've never seen a more insanely violent crowd. I didn't think my 15-year-old self was going to make it out alive but I did and it was awesome. | |

| I drove up to Albany to see Rancid at Northern Lights. They were seriously amazing. Played every song you'd want them to play including my two favorites, the 11th hour and st. mary's!! | |
