| I was just thinking earlier on about other artists that I would like to see in the Revival Tour setting. Assuming Chuck will always be on it, choose another 3 people you think would go well on the tour, not including anyone who has already done it. Im going for David Moore of Chamberlain, Dan Layus of Augustana and Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty (although would he be too high profile?) Maybe John Rzeznik of The Goo Goo Dolls instead (although I guess he too is a bit of a celebrity these days). Just a bit of fantasy anyway. | |

| William Elliot Whitmore Tim Vantol (a Dutch guy who was Chuck's support act at some dates in The Netherlands) And since he's not on this years tour I have to say Frank Turner!
Oh and what about Mike Ness?

| well Chuck won't be on it forever though: - Quote :
- Chuck also hinted that it's not something he'll perform on forever. "Eventually, it's going to be something that I can step off of, and just help co-ordinate and help run it, just have this music constantly brought to the people."
http://www.femalefirst.co.uk/music/interviews/Chuck+Ragan+interview-99913.html and yesss Tim Vantol and Frank Turner would be awesome! and what about Chris Wollard or Chris Farren? and Helen Chambers too, I've been listening to her a lot since that split came out last month

| Tom Gabel definitely. Northcote, whose 'Worry' is being covered by the guys on the current tour. Jay Northington maybe? A drummer would mix things up a bit too | |

I think Conor could be free...since The People's Key is the last Bright Eyes album, and I don't think the Mystic Valley Band isn't doing anything any more (from what I last read). I think Jeff Tweedy would be cool. I saw a solo show of his about five years ago and it was great.

| I like the Gabel and Whitmore suggestions. As much as love Chris Farren, I'm not sure how he'd fit on the Revival Tour.
Some lesser known guys I'd like to see would be Sam Russo or Koji.

John Rzeznik would be pretty cool, but I bet you're right about him being too much of a celebrity to join the Revival tour. Wo knows though? Maybe we'll be surprised with the line up next time.

| I think the trouble with Rzeznik is that they'd have to play larger venues and that would take away the magic of the intimate setting that looks so incredible in the youtube videos.
I just hope they play the revival show stateside!

| I hope so too! I would love to go to one of these amazing shows, but Europe is too far and WAY too expensive for me. I also like the idea of small, more intimate settings for these concerts, and a bigger name performer could change that. Good point! | |

| Mixing it up a bit, rather than keeping it the same:
Chuck, Tim Barry, Tom Gabel, and Ben Nichols or Chris Wollard? Probably never gonna happen tho.

| As someone stated: Chuck, Ben, Mike Ness and Brian. The hard part would be to convince Mike to take a couple of weeks "off" for this tour. But i know he likes all of Ben, Chuck and Brian's work so who knows maybe it could happen. I think it'd be the awsomeness!!! | |

Perhaps a bit harsh. I must admit I didn't know his music when I went to The Revival Tour but after the 2 shows I was definitely left wanting to investigate further into his and The Alkaline Trio's songs. He's also a really friendly guy to meet in person too. I would say its that people may be less familiar with him rather than not liking him. Im still not too familiar but I certainly like they guy and his songs that Ive heard.
