I haven't seen a thread for this show. Anybody here attending?

The venue seems to be located on the outskirts of town (outside a ring road, for what I see on google maps), do any of you know if there are any buses from the city centre or if it is OK to walk the distance?

I've seen the videos of other shows and I'm really anxious!!!

Wow, that was a really nice experience. I must admit that I only came for Brian, so I enjoyed his performance the most. Dave Hause was really good as well, and I liked some songs of Chuck Ragan (not all of them, I don't like his voice his voice all that much for some reason). Dan Andriano has some good songs, but failed to grasp the attention of the audience (there was a lot of talking during his concert, more than with the others). The fact that the whole show went on for more than three hours without a break might have played a role (although Brian kind of woke everybody up).

But of course, Brian Smile I panicked a little when he said that he was going to do things differently than on the previous shows (I hated that because for the past weeks I have done nothing more than checking out tons of Youtube-videos) and that he would play covers as well. Not that I have something against covers, but I was really dying to hear some of my favourite TGA-songs, and I was already worried because he only had 45 minutes.

But the covers were really nice (I recall "Old Sad Songs" by Lucero and "Harsh Realms" by Tom Gabel), and his pick of own songs was quite amazing: first "Ladykiller" by THC (the one THC-song that I really loved from the previous sets), and at the end "Here's Looking At You, Kid" - "She Loves You" (on request from someone in the audience) - "Blue Jeans & White T-shirts", three of my most favourite Gaslight-songs. It's hard to imagine a better combination of songs. He ended with "Senor & The Queen" (someone requested it on Twitter earlier that day) and "American Slang" with all the others.

Brian was in a real good mood, with some hilarious stories in between the songs (once more, some about his father!)

Some videos I made, hope you like them:

Really nice to see all the people singing along here, nice moment Smile

I have videos of "Ladykiller" and "Here's Looking At You, Kid" as well, but I'll post them tomorrow!

Probably the best show I'll ever attend to...

Just amazing. I went just for Brian (I didn't know anything of the other three) and I love every and each of them:

- I liked Dan Andriano songs (although not his voice too much). I was on first row and yes, there were people on the 2nd or 3rd rows chatting...very disturbing.

- Chuck Ragan was all passion. Incredible.

- Dave House: great great music and spirit. He was the mastermind of the two young boys doing crowdsurfing ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWqnTbC3-Bc&feature=related) and he eventually crowdsurfed too (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1gN5Y0l494). He was after the show helping in the store (with Ian) and was such a nice guy, hehe.

- Brian. Played Great Expectations at the beggining and 59' sound at the end (both with the others). The three mingus said are also ones of my favourites. He played a Bouncing Souls song with Dave (I don't know the title, anyone?) and a PJ Harvey one...

Here's the video of Harsh Realms (with the initial comments, jokes, etc.):

On a personal note, I had the opportunity of meeting both Ian and Brain after the show (in fact, Brian was with the fans almost 1 hour after it ended, outside in the cold) ahd they were really nice with me (Ian spoke for a while and he seemed really interested in what I was saying and all that, really kind of him).

By the way, I think the show was closer to 4 hours!!!

Glad to see you enjoyed it as much as I did Smile You came all the way from Spain for this show?

My last two vids:

Ladykiller:

Here's Looking At You, Kid:

Brian started talking about the three girls that broke his heart, and I kind of immediately knew which song he was talking about. My all-time favourite TGA-song, and perhaps one of the most beautiful songs ever written (for me). I love the way he speaks about it on the video here, kind of funny, but deadly serious at the same time. It's incredible to see how this song keeps to amaze me, time and time again.

"You listened to track 11, did you?"

thank you for recording Harsh Realms....I love the original version by Tom Gabel and this version comes mighty close to its epicness.

The Bouncing Souls song Brian played was Lean On Sheena (from the Gold Record). It was indeed a great show, although 'On The Bow' was much more impressive at the instore gig (especially Chuck Ragans voice, that's incredible when he stands right in front of you)!

Yes man...a long way from home I guess.

I couldn't talk to Chuck at the end to beg him for a show in Spain for the next revival tour, hehe.

I did talk with Brian (and with Ian) and told them that...that they have to play a full show in Madrid next time (this year they opened for Foo Fighters and then they play a full show in Barcelona) and Brian told me that they definitely would do it next year because Barcelona was great. Hope it works out!
