Hi from Scotland

Yeah, so since I posted in a couple other threads, it seems rude not to introduce myself here.

I'm Dave.

I'm from Glasgow in Scotland. Currently working as a Research Assistant at hte University of Dundee (physics stuff to do with moving things about with acoustics).

In my other life I'm a 'folk' singer. I've got a website at www.davehughesmusic.co.uk

That's about it.

Oh, and the other stuff.

I'm a Springsteen-bore. He's my top artist of all time (favourite album - The River, Track - None but the brave, bootleg - Trenton Night D&D tour, show I've seen - Cardiff Millenium Stadium).

P.S. - You are so lucky that you have seen TGA a number of times and are going to a Revival show. I'm jealous! I haven't made it to one of Brian's concerts yet. Someday...

My wifes a nanny (and also trained as a teacher), so there's a coincidence. She also writes a blog, so kind of a writer.

Interesting! I also have a blog and am an aspiring novelist. Still working on that part of the dream. As for being a nanny/teacher, it's exhausting but beyond rewarding.
