Our covers of The Horrible Crowes Songs

Ive noticed people writing about tabs and chord progressions and showing off their guitars so I thought it would be cool to see a few covers, videos or sound clips etc if any one wants to. So if you don't mind Ill start us off with my cover of Sugar. I know its a little rough but Ive got tendon damage in a finger on my chords hand so please cut me some slack on that. Having said that Im happy with it so I hope you guys think its ok too. I recorded on a single track on garageband. Hadn't time to seperate tracks and put loads of effort in. Looking forward to seeing some of your covers too... Ill no doubt post more as life goes on...

I recorded an instrumental for Last Rites but haven't done anything with it. I can't get your cover to load but I'd love to hear it.

Yeah for some reason soundcloud seems to be down at the minute. Im sure it will be up again soon. Typical hey. Tomorrow night im thinking of doing the same song on video for my you tube profile so I'll post that too

I might have to resurrect my covers career for this thread , im thinking Blood loss or Ladykiller.

If anyone can figure out Cherry Blossoms, or Crush...I might give this a shot.

Rhythm for Crush is pretty standard from what I can hear.

Crush is easy, don't let the bass deceive you.

It kinda lacks a bit in flavor without the minor chord, but either way you did a good job and you've got a great voice.

Seriously dude you make me want to better myself as a musician. Thank god I got into the vocal technique class before it filled up.

Thanks for the feedback!! Its weird because i don't ever think of myself as a singer i just kind of do it occasionally , i haven't had vocal lessons but i have been singing since i was 15ish , but all the positive feedback i get on here has definitely given me more confidence with it , maybe even i will see myself as a decent singer soon.

I guess we're all our worst critics, but you're already a fantastic singer, especially considering you've never had lessons.

Call it Off aswell? That's one of my favorites by Tegan & Sara. You're just too good. Do you write any own material besides of your band?

Thanks , ahh yeh i put that up today too , i am constantly trying to write stuff yeh but i discard almost all of it , i really have to try and work at it and get some good songs wrote this year.
