Not my tab. What do you guys think? Has two 5 star ratings, but doesn't sound right to me. Brian definitely doesn't use a capo either.

| when i first heard it i immediatly thought "Am, F, C". but when i saw the sessions video of brian playing it he didn't seem to be playing in Am. but even if the key is wrong, i still think the progression is right, although some chords don't correspond to the right words.

Same thing with me. It is definetly correct for the album version.

| So the key of the song is C minor. The version on UG uses a capo at the first fret to get to that key, and if you used a capo at the 3rd fret it becomes Am, F, C shapes. Brian Fallon tunes his guitar down a whole step, so Dm, Bb, F shapes cover the song.
With the down-tuned guitar the intro looks like (credit goes to thebiglebowski): 1|-----1--------------------------- 2|-----3--------------------------- 3|-----2--------------------------- 4|-0-----------3------------------- 5|---------1-----------3-------3-3- 6|-----------------1-------1-------
1|--------------------------------- 2|--------------------------------- 3|---------2p0---0----------------- 4|-------------3---3--------------- 5|---------------------3----------- 6|---------------------------------
Edit: The formatting messed it up a little bit. Copy and paste into Notepad to view it correct. Each - is an eighth note and they should line up correctly

| I found the chords that were put up on ultimate guitar and used them for the cover I did in the 'Our Horrible Crowes Covers' thread. I thought that sounded ok (Bm, G, D, A) but I didnt play it with the record so it could be absolute bollocks. | |
