| SideOneDummy seem to have updated the vinyl info on their Elsie LP store page, as the Euro pressings are now mentioned (and the black is again at 1,300). I have amended my OP accordingly. Hopefully that's it now.

| Thanks Alexander.
The info below was posted on vinyl collective earlier and may explain the discrepancy/confusion between the 1,300 and 1,500 figure for the US black vinyl:
"so i just got another email from side one because my email was forwarded further up the food chain apparently. now they are saying there are 1430 copies on black because of the standard 10% over run.

| I see they still haven't clarified if first/second pressings can be distinguished but its nice to see everyone emailing them at least caused them to release a little more information, even if its super late. Also they are sticking by the 1300, which might mean the people who got the black had the most limited edition after-all. (Assuming of course you can tell the first and second pressings apart) | |

| Pressing some extra is pretty standard, which wouldn't annoy me at all. There has to be some to fall back on if any get lost, damaged, etc. It's just very shady when numbers are in the thousands rather than a hundred or so extra. Hopefully this continues to get worked out. | |

| To add to the confusion, I did not know that there's another vinyl color available besides black and blood red? Apparently, the European pressing is on black and bright red, different from the blood red.........even though SOD initially stated "The only other color of vinyl available on this title is the limited edition "blood red" vinyl that can only be found at independent record stores around the US, Canada and UK.", according to them. So, I guess US pressing now includes black and blood red, while European pressing includes black and bright red. | |

| Well, I guess before we get too worried about that, we should just compare and contrast copies. Bright red may very well be a different working for blood red. If it's different, then all bets are off. ha. | |

| Got an email back from JohnnyB at S1D - he said he'd try to come here and make a post clarifying everything for us by the end of the week. =) (I'm unsure if he is going to take the time to answer specific questions or just post some pre-written responce, but at least it'll be something) | |

| I just noticed that on my US digital download card, there a number out of 5000. I've heard that the Euro pressings have a CD sized piece of paper with the code. Curious to see if the Euro pressings have a number on them as well...or will there be 5000 US pressings alone.. | |

| The European vinyl was pressed at KDG, Austria, and distributed by Cargo Records, Germany (i.e. NOT pressed at Cargo Records). | |
