When I saw Sharks last night, support came from Great Cynics. I was really impressed with them and they are a nice bunch.
Here are some videos:

maybe it's that live vibe that's missing; it's a great album

Not bad! I can't figure out who, but they really remind me of another band. I can see them putting on a good live show; seem like they have great energy!

Saw these guys on Friday night in Glasgow, it was amazing. Really tight band and the album, Don't Need Much is in my top 5 list of 2011.

Played with these guys back in July for their Album tour (at least I think it was).
Giles is a cool dude and his band members are as lovely. More people should know about them!

Time to revive this thread, as Great Cynics have a brilliant new album out just now; 'I Feel Weird'. It packs 11 songs into just 26 minutes. A little gem.
