Less than a Month Away until Elsie!

Album released in less that a month now guys..! That'll keep us occupied for the coming of the new Gaslight Anthem released in Feb 2012, has anyone heard Biloxi Parish? It's the new Gaslight song, if not, i recommend you get on YouTube right this minute!

Where has it been said that the new TGA will be released in february 2012, last I heard they were aiming for a may/summer release, February seems a little too early to me, would be awesome though!

Has it actually been confirmed that biloxi parish will appear on the new album? it seems like a non album single to me

I don't know if anyone caught this but that page only has 46 likes..and if you read some of the other posts, you can tell that's it's just a fan. For some reason it pisses me off that someone would make a fan page with the same name and same picture. Seems like a recipe for trouble..

Don't count on this but im sure I saw an interview with Brian where he said he read a poem and in it contained a line around the lines of "did you dance with elsie boy, we all did" and I think that he derived it from that. Im pretty sure it was from the interview where he was fisinng on a boat at the same time. cool guy

I've translated the relevant part. I hope everything's understandable. :

Q: "So, who's that Elsie actually?"
Brian: "Elsie is a figure from the episode "Eels" from "The Mighty Boosh" . There's that demon guy, who's hypnotizing Howard Moon and then he's moving into his head, where this beautiful ballerina Elsie is dancing. And suddenly, everything's full of snakes and eels. Then that demon guy's asking Howard: "Did you dance with Elsie?" And when Howard denied that the demon said: "Of course you did! Everyone's dancing with Elsie!"
I love this moment because everyone of us has his own Elsie - his own beautiful demon.

Might Boosh is actually one of my favourite Tv shows ever!! I have seen the live show twice too , its amazing that Gaslight are fans , they must have a strange sense of humour.
