Hey guys. Longtime lurker, first time poster. Let's see, what should you know about me?

My name is Andy and I'm from New Jersey. I'm a journalism student working toward being an entertainment writer and currently interning at an alternative weekly newspaper in Philly. I first got into Gaslight the summer after Senor and the Queen dropped and they quickly became my favorite band--the bootlegs, the vinyls, the merch, etc. Incidentally, I've used the pricing guide and the lists you guys keep---cannot overstate how helpful they were.

I mostly hang with crust punks and, er, "hipsters," so with the exception of my girlfriend and a couple more tolerant friends, nobody in the crowd I run with can tolerate Gaslight's [comparatively] poppy sound and slick production. With that in mind I have decided to shed the trappings of my cool/crusty friends and join the ranks of the nerds--that is, you dudes.

Also, I notice one of the more regular posters here has an avatar of Amy Pond from Doctor Who. Awesome.

A friend of mine went to Rowan, for engineering. I live in Hunterdon county, nowhere near the parkway. People ask me what exit and I tell them, I'm an hour away from the parkway, all the way west by PA.

Damn, that is quite a hike. However, I do generally know where that is!

It is not too bad, since I'm an hour from Philly, NYC and the shore.

15 min and I'm in New Hope, PA, which is a cool town and 35min to New Brunswick. I want to move to the Basking Ridge/Bridgewater area.
