Nice one! I'm in Kirk Sandall. I work up in East Riding, so local drinking buddies are thin on the ground, should have a beer at some point!

An awesome show. I felt embarrassed by the loud mouth idiots chatting and shouting through Brians set and loved how he put them down. They even had the cheek to argue with him after the show.
So they actually stayed after the show to meet Brian and argue with him? That is pathetic! I was so happy when Brian shot the down what did Brian have to say to them after the show when they were arguing with him?
First I came out and the guys who were chatting were justifying themselves to Ian and Brian backed up Ians point when he came out that theres lots going on in his head and that just pushed him over the edge. Some chirpy girl shouted wanker at him but i dont htink he heard and she then went over and began argueing too. Brian didnt apologise but I think he made friends with a couple and agreed to disagree with another couple.
I was embarrassed. they ruined Cherry Blossoms (the quietest song) the guy deserves respect and they were just kids not ready to hear what Brian had to offer.
That was my last show on tour unfortunately but its been awesome!

Someone yelled at Brian to "just play the song" (or something similar) at Horrible Crowes. I thought "Oh I'm sorry. Do you not like it when someone tries to entertain you by saying really funny things?" Hrmph. Crowd members heckling the people they just paid to see are like the live version of internet trolls who follow bands so they can say nasty things to them. Weird.
I'll say it again here- lovely photos Alexander!

Thank you!!
I'm really pleased with them too, seeing not least that they were taken with a compact (the Canon PowerShot A 590 IS, set to shutter speed priority 1/40 at 400 ASA - it also has a fully Manual option).

set list
as I said, the Horrible Crowes didn't play 'Jesus', and Brian later played 'Old White Lincoln' instead; I don't know what other changes there were, as Dan certainly played a request or two

Its a real shame we didn't get 'Jesus' and those kids in the crowd are the ones to blame. They would have talked right through it. Chuck Ragan didn't play Valentine from what I remember.
For your interest I just read a review of the Nottingham show where Brian was said to be 'aggressive and self righteous' to the chatty kids in the crowd. I thought he was totally justified and felt bad for him that things came to that.

P.S Alexander I will get around to adding you, good to meet you

They've played Goodnight Irene on previous nights of the tour, shame they didnt in Nottingham - not that we can knock the gig. Superb. I saw that review too. We're obviously going to side with Brian but even accounting for that, I thought the self-righteous line was a bit harsh. He deliberately tried to avoid that, actually, by saying 'these people might not have come to see me but they damn sure didn't come to see you'. As an aside, I bought the Revival Tour CD for a tenner. Nice to have a good quality acoustic version of Goodnight Irene!

Yeah its a good song and so is No Weather. One of the highlights of the tour cd is definitely On The Bow for me. I love it. I can see why a neutral person may form the opion that Brian was being self righteous but knowing how humble Brian is and how grateful he is to be where he is you know that he wasn't being like that. those people deserved to be singled out. My only regret is that we didn't jeer them for another minute and together start chanting for them to be thrown out. haha

I am sure he did, as I distinctly recall singing along to "stiches on the radio".
