| Here's my transcription of the lyrics.
BEHOLD THE HURRICANE
I remember everything we had. Every breath of this house creaking. I’m familiar with the cold and the windows and the doors. And the sound of my heart beating. Beating in and out of time.
And it’s such a shame. I heard the wind say this morning. Be still my heart. I age by years at the mention of your name. What a pity this season. You remember me my lover. I don’t recognize myself. I’m not the man you love. Behold the hurricane. Behold the hurricane.
I walk around these empty rooms. We once moved like the morning. Silhouettes they haunt this house like a memory haunts me now as if it were a dream. As if it were a dream.
It’s such a shame. I heard the wind say this morning. Be still my heart. I age by years at the mention of your name. What a pity this season. You remember me my lover. I don’t recognize myself. I’m not the man you love. Behold the hurricane. Behold the hurricane.
I heard the moon has visions of her nightly. I heard the mighty rivers cry out her name. And I saw the heavens and the earth. Yes I saw the heavens and the earth cry over you.
It’s such a shame. I heard the wind say this morning. Be still my heart. I age by years at the mention of your name. What a pity this season. You remember me my lover. I don’t recognize myself. I’m not the man you love. Behold the hurricane. Behold the hurricane.
At the door the leaves had fallen. Suddenly I realized that you were gone. Suddenly I realized that you were gone. Behold the hurricane.

| The only part of the end I can make out is "Suddenly I realized that you were gone." | |

| It sounds like the singer at the end says something I can't make out, then:
Suddenly I knew back then you were gone Suddenly I knew I could hurt you more.
might be wrong though, it's tough to make out

| thanks shrewsbury_stars! i had some trouble making out the lyrics myself when i first heard this, so i'm glad you took the time to do this. i'm liking the song a lot so far, the lyrics really kick ass and the music is a bit more layered and relaxed. i'm glad to hear this is the one that sounds most like gaslight. | |

| I think the part before suddenly I realized you were gone is something about the leaves beginning to fall....
Relating back to the what a pity this season line

Relating back to the what a pity this season line I hear 'leaves' as well, I guess you're right with the Fall theme.

That definitely makes sense. For some reason I'm hearing: "Back to joy. Leaves are falling. Suddenly I realized that your were gone." I'm certain that I am mis-hearing "back to joy" part because that's pretty inane.

| The best that I can hear is "BYYYYYY the CHHH the leeeeeavess had fallen, suddenly I realized that you were gone X2"
Or maybe "Behind the church the leaves had fallen"

| I edited my original post to reflect the lyrics at the end (now that they're decipherable on the i-Tunes version). | |

I bought the Itunes version as well..and I'm still unsure of the first bit. I'm hearing a distinctive CHH sound where you have the word "door" (but maybe that's just me). Plus "At the door the leaves had fallen" just doesn't sit right with me.

| It makes sense to me cuz he's standing in the doorway, the season's changed and as he's looking around at the leaves on the ground, he realizes that she's gone for good... | |

| Also! In the chorus, similiar to the open line where he sings "I remember everything we had" and you can barely hear the we had, I think it's "Do you remember me, my lover?" | |

| Been trying to work out the chords, basically figured out the intro as C - Am and Am + F for the transition, anyone else have better luck with it? | |

You're right with the first part, and then it goes into G right before the chorus. During the chorus, you can also add the B# when walking from the Am to the C. At the end of the chorus it goes from C-G-Am-F once and then back to C for the verse. For the breakdown, it goes from Em-Am-F twice then back and forth between Am-F and then bringing it back into the chorus with G. (The chord names are just for reference, seeing as his guitar is tuned to D-standard).
