Love it. I was worried it would be something too abstract, like the picture that has been on their facebook profile for a while, but this is great.

I like it! It's simple, but feels very natural and appropriate for this project. Also, I like that it depicts their colloborations and portrays a dark & moody feel.

hope it grows on me because im not really digging it, looks like a single cover not an album cover.

The cover art could be a brown paper bag as far as I'm concerned as long as the music is good.

great job; I love the balanced layout, the lettering, the colours, the lot; and the photo too is just right

I also think this will look superb in store; too many modern covers don't respect how small CDs are; this one will really stand out

people have of course correctly spotted that the look is based on the covers for which the Blue Note record label became famous; here is a small extract from Wikipedia:

"In 1956, Blue Note employed Reid Miles, an artist who worked for Esquire magazine. The cover art produced by Miles, often featuring Wolff's photographs of musicians in the studio, was as influential in the world of graphic design as the music within would be in the world of jazz. Under Miles, Blue Note was known for their striking and unusual album cover designs. Miles' graphical design was distinguished by its tinted black and white photographs, creative use of sans-serif typefaces, and restricted color palette (often black and white with a single color), and frequent use of solid rectangular bands of color or white, influenced by the Bauhaus school of design.
