| Just finished Into the Wild. Such a tragic story, and I feel so sad after that. | |

amazing book. and interesting that you felt sad...I felt more motivated than sad. Have you seen the movie? It's really freaking good. |

| Yeah, saw the movie a while back but only just got round to reading the book. Really enjoyed the film too. I guess I'm just sad because, as much as I can identify with McCandless and his views on achieving happiness, it's one of many examples that show it just isn't possible to go out and live in the wild on your own, and that was purely a horrible way for his life to end. | |

| yeah I agree with what you are saying but I guess I kinda see it differently...it was a sad way to die but mad props to him for going ahead and doing what he loved. I guess I focus on that aspect more than the end. |

Oh yeah, I've got massive respect for him for going out and living on the road for so long. It's just a shame his story had to end the way it did. | |

| Does anyone know of any good books concerning Buddhism and/or solipsism? I'm interested in looking at the link between the two but I'm struggling to find anything worthwhile | |
