I wonder, do you really need to tune down a half-step? Since all the chords are barre chords... standard tuning might work. Just shift the riffs down a fret.
Anyway, I like the sound of yours. Mind if I use parts of it to fix up mine?

EDIT: okay, so I've been reading around and I get the feeling that they play most of their songs in Eb tuning. Is that true?

I think most songs are tuned down a full step, although some are tuned down a half step to Eb and some are left in standard.

A few songs i know are tuned down to D are Great Expectations, The '59 Sound and High Lonesome.
Old WL is in Standard as is Patient Ferris Wheel and Film (i think).

From SoS, Wooderson and Navesink Banks are tuned down, i'm not sure if there a full step or a half, (and I cant be bothered checking right now).
and Drive's in standard.

Yeah, Navesink Banks is down a half-step, if I recall right. It's tough to tell on these w/o seeing them play it.
