| I think Brian mentioned Jakob's new record "Women and Country" on his blog a while back. Anyways after reading an interview with Jakob recently I picked up the album and am kinda blown away. Didn't expect something this great. I know it's in his genes but still. It's really sparse Americana. Got a little bit of a Tom Waits vibe too. | |

| I've been meaning to check it out for long time now. I've heard good things. I still have a huge soft spot for The Wallflowers. Hello, age 10 musical interests! | |

| i prefer 'Seeing Things' to 'Women and Country', although i find both albums really great. Valley of the Low Sun is prbably my fav song of his.
and i can't get into The Wallflowers, guess it's not for me xD

| Been on my list to check out for a long time now. Gotta start keeping up with that list!! I'm sure I'll love "Women and Country" if it has a Tom Waits vibe to it. |

| New Wallflowers track with Mick Jones from The Clash. Sounds like Jakob was trying to write a Clash song with this one. I kinda like it.

| I love the Wallflowers. Seeing them on Wednesday at the Stone Pony.
The solo stuff gets pulled out when I am looking for something very quiet. It's not bad but I don't love it.

| Went to see the Wallflowers tonight at the Stone Pony....Dylan comes out for the encore and says he likes coming to Jersey because they have a lot of friends out here...asks about Red Bank and then calls onto stage...wait for it....
Brian Fallon. Brian did all 4 encore songs including Three Mzarlenas and Costello's Peace Love and Understanding. When Brian sang his first 2 parts on Three Marlenas, the mic was off. Once they got it on, they killed that song. I'm sure it will be on Youtube soon.
Ian, Hause and Levine were all at the show. Levine had a Mets hat on and was standing right to my left. Brian wore the same t-shirt he wore last night in NYC.

| Yeah pretty sweet. Also forgot to mention, Dylan said that Brian just released a new record "last night" and he was up at 12:01 buying it. Then he said "now he quit the band and joined the Wallflowers". | |

He's worn that (nearly) 3 nights in a row now haha. He wore it in Boston, NY, and then for this show. That's awesome though. What a cool surprise!

He probably figures if he's going to spend $36 on a t-shirt he's going to wear it all week. I remember a past interview where he stated he still buys his t-shirts at Target where he's always bought them. haha Also as a side note, craziest person at show tonight = calmest person at show last night. Nice change of pace! PS I hate the iPhone camera.

| Great find. Normally I'd get to the Stone Pony early and get up front on the rail but I was still recovering from the night before. Now had I known Brian Fallon was showing up.....
Wallflowers and Dylan have posted pics and videos on their Facebook page - I think they were more excited to play with Brian Fallon than he was to play with them!
Really thouugh, must be a cool expereince. Brian is my age and I remember first hearing the Wallflowers in HS - so I can't imagine what an experience it would be.
