yes, they did already do a "hosted by" when they performed at Frequency in August. But as I missed most part of this I can't be sure by the song choices. Anyway, I contacted the TV station but didn't get an answer yet ;o(

i hate sites where i can't understand a thing... thanks for this find though! do you know if we can watch this online? or is it just on tv?

I love how I've never heard of Marina And The Diamonds, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and The Hives, but I love every other band on that list beisdes Florence & The Machine.

edit: just started listen to some Nick Cave. Very impressed so far. Kinda has a Tom Waits feel to it. (Started with Henry's Dream)

last time it was not the whole band that appeared in the programme but only Brian +1 (either Alex R or Benny ... honestly can't remember)

The show is currently on air. It's not a repeat and it's just Brian requesting the songs. He's wearing the same shirt as he did during the concert in the Arena later that night

cool is he telling interesting stories or he simply introduces the song?

just came home and tuned in ... so far not so may stories but also a bit more than just announcing songs

I haven't heard of Marina and the Diamonds either I thought The Hives and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds were pretty big bands. I've seen The Hives play three times now now (first time was 9 years ago) and two out of those three shows were quite awesome!

FINALLY! Here's the upload of Brian's requests as well as a little feature they started with.

The feature is quite nice, too. Don't worry if you don't understand the German off-speaker. It's no new news but if anyone's interested I can translate. At one time she's referring to the venue they played in Vienna which is an old slaughterhouse that was squatted by activists/punks. To me by far the coolest venue Vienna has to offer. But you can hear Brian's view on that anyway ;o)
