Goodnight Irene- New Song?

I was just dicking around youtube watching some live songs and stumbled across this:

It's Brian, Benny, Chuck Ragan and some fiddle player playing a song called Goodnight Irene. Now at first I though it was just a cover of the old folk standard by the same name, but I listened to both this and the folk version and they have almost no lyrical similarities.

Brian does give a little preface into the song but I can't really make out what he's saying but he does say "We've been working on this for a while" right before he starts playing. I was thinking this could be one of the songs from the rumored chuck and brian album.

What's everyone think?

I guess it are two different projects. In Tilburg, Brian mentioned a "revival-tour" with himself, chuck regan and frank turner. He also mentioned something about a 7" boxset. Oh and he said he wrote the song with Chuck and Benny.

But now I think of it, maybe the Nighttime Songs-thing is going to be a part of the boxset...
