| Went last night in Philly. No Brian cameos, but a great HWM set. Much better set than the first unitarian church show last year. It's Hard to Know is the best song ever. I'd love it if they just played all of No Division, but hearing that song was amazing.
La Dispute literally is the worst band on record and in a live setting. It is unbelievable that they have fans. I'm baffled that HWM tapped them for support. A pretty large chunk of the kids left right after their set. Good riddance.
Menzingers of course were amazing. Always get better each time I see them.

| They play second. If they played first I would've showed up late... Ah well! | |

| Meh, I think you guys are being a little judgmental. La Dispute is a different breed of punk, but the lyrics and passion are fantastic. It's ok if it's not your cup of tea.
I did see a little exodus of kids when their set was over too, but hey, better that then them just standing there taking up space. I talked to a couple of kids who were just there for La Dispute and they were nice and respectful.

| Seattle show was rad. Menzingers of course kicked serious butt because that's what they do. La Dispute wasn't as bad as you made them out to be Colin. I mean, they certainly weren't great, I don't have any desire to go listen to more of their music, but I've certainly heard worse bands. It is somewhat baffling and disappointing that there were more people there for them than Menzingers or HWM, but whatever. Just meant there was a lot of open space during Hot Water Music's set so there was plenty of room to rock the fuck out.
But yeah, Hot Water Music played all my favorite songs, including covering True Believers. Crowd was good. All in all a great time.

| Anyone going to the Chuck Ragan headlining gigs in Germany this August? I'm going to Bremen, Berlin, Stuttgart and Koln. Also going to see him on Pukkelpop! | |

| Goddammit Chuck took Germany like a storm! I went to four of his headline gigs here and they were all really really good but Cologne today topped them all! It was insane!!! Probably one of the hottest gigs I have been too with an incredible audience! And even tho it was hot as hell as soon as Chuck hits the stage I get goose bumps, this man is just one of a kind. So energetic, so enthousiastic and such a nice and sweet person. Oh and Tim Vantol was there again today! That was a nice surprise! | |

| Looks like the 12/12 show was moved from Starland to Asbury Lanes! So glad I finally get to go to the lanes. Does anyone know the capacity of that place? | |

| Anyone seeing HWM in Asbury Park tonight? I have a feeling at least Brian will be there. Here's hoping for a guest appearance. HWM are one of my favorites. It's killing me that I can't see them for these northeastern shows. | |

Been listening to this song all morning. It is so frickin awesome. I hate to say it but if the rest of the songs on his new album share this same feeling I think Gaslight will have some competition for 2014. Though, Gaslight Anthem will always be me favorite band so I will probably be biased.

| Anyone know if theres anyplace to pre-order Chucks album in a bundle or at least on coloured vinyl? Amazon have a pre-order up you see. I thought Chuck was on S1D but in their store they only have 5 bands to choose from and one is Gaslight so maybe things aren't great over there. I also checked Chucks website and it hardly mentions the new album. | |

| I got the Skaters Palace live record in blue vinyl. Its really god, although I didn't get a download code with it when I'm sure it should have been included. Anyone else find the same problem? | |

| On Uncle M it says ""Live At Skaters Palace" erscheint ausschließlich analog als Doppel-LP auf Vinyl (im Gatefold, OHN DOWNLOAD-CODE -->WITHOUT DOWNLOAD CODE) und wird lediglich in einer streng limitierten Auflage von 1500 Stück erhältlich sein." i received it too and these LPs are great - but on side A there are some scratches and in the second LP there are a few little black/grey streakes. I don't really care, but i was wondering if anyone else had this problem. | |
