I just have to say.

That this weekend has been the best weekend of my life thanks to this band. Not making a lame hyperbole, either.

First week of going to a new school and I'm on my way to my car to go home and someone sees my TGA t-shirt and tells me they are playing at my school. I wind up seeing my favourite band, free of charge, at my new school on the first weekend there. Completely blew my mind.

Now I'm going to see their acoustic/meet and greet at a record store downtown, and then the concert at the Commodore tonight. I will have seen them play 3 times in just over 24 hours, unreal.
And I briefly got to talk to Brian, such a nice and genuine dude. He came out to talk to fans, and it didn't seem like an obligation, but more so because he just wanted to talk about the band and the music industry as a whole. I can't put it into words, but he's one of the most charismatic people I have had the pleasure of meeting.

Don't know if this warranted a new thread, but it was my first time meeting the band, and meeting them at my school made it all the more awesome.

Thanks for sharing this. It's that 'genuine' bit, which gets them the level of my support, not just the music.

Sounds like fun. Where's the in-store/meet and greet at? I looked online but didn't see any mention of it on any of the official channels.

Edit: Found a mention of this on Twitter. It was Brian and Alex performing at an HMV store. I wonder if they plan on doing any more of these performances (in addition to the Seattle in-store which was actually listed by SideOne).
