TGA Ringtones

Has anyone made their own? I've made some, and if anyone is interested I can either upload them or text them.

The ringtones I've made:

We Came To Dance
High Lonesome
Even Cowgirls Get The Blues x 2
Diamond Church Street Choir x 2
Bring It On

my current ringtone is the opening to Boxer
but I also made:
The Backseat
The '59 Sound
The Queen of Lower Chelsea

Awesome. My current ringtone for texts is one of the two I made for Diamond Church Street Choir.

I've just now made one for Old Haunts as well.

How do you make these? Do you mean you've just taken specific parts out of the song or have you done something clever? If I ever want a Gaslight ringtone I just choose the song and it plays it from the start..

I have a program for the iphone that lets me cut 30 seconds out of a song and use it as a ringtone. It's pretty cool, and super easy.

Oh right. Do you think you could upload some of them for us to use?

How might I go about doing that?

Well do you know how to get them onto your computer? I'm guessing the iPhone will jumble it up in some way so you can't share it. If you can get the audio onto your computer it's easy enough though.

Yeah, I used a trial program that I downloaded to my computer, and now I use something different.

An iPhone takes a different format, right? I can upload my ringtones, but I don't think they are usable on an iPhone.

Ah, bummer. That's a bit annoying and one reason I didn't take the bait and get an iPhone with my upgrade earlier this year.

It's easy to make an iPhone ringtone. Just make it an M4A file and then change the extension to M4R. Then add it to iTunes and it's recognized as a ringtone.

OR

If you have Garageband, load the song, edit it how you like, and then do Share>Export as Ringtone.

i made myself a diamond church street choir tone with some free programm i downloaded. there are definitely other tga tones to follow
