Love the enthusiasm of it, but I think you could profit from using a metronome.

Why are you playing the chords so fast, its really wrong man.
Going from a live version.

What version?
The december show at Asbury Convention.

Brian never played it like that, trust me I was there Razz , the chords are am f c g, played the same way the bass is. Idk I guess its just me but i don't think the music was matching up with the lyrics in your cover.

Yeah sorry Jimmy but your guitar playing is way off.

You're playing two chords per ber whereas there should be one chord per bar.

So if you're counting 1, 2, 3, 4, it's

Am
1, 2, 3, 4

F
1, 2, 3, 4

C
1, 2, 3, 4

G
1, 2, 3, 4

I've been a member for a while but I don't really post much. Anywho, I recorded a cover of Old White Lincoln, and even though I hate my voice, you all seem like nice people so I figured it wouldn't really hurt to share it. Like I said, please excuse my awful voice haha.

Your voice is solid dude. it reminds me of that guy from sum 41 or something along those lines. the lead guitar lines were a nice touch too.

So, here's a cover of Miles Davis & The Cool that I recorded by myself this past weekend. You have to excuse my pronunciation (english is not my native language) and some parts are a bit pitchy (especially in the chorus and the bridge, for some reason I find it quite hard to find the right pitch and hit the notes in those parts). I really HATE my singing voice but there's not much I can do about it. Some of Alex R's guitar parts are also kinda improvised since there's no complete tab around but hey, I think it sounds pretty good. I also use a drum machine, so the drums sound a bit mechanic and that's why the dynamics looks crazy. Anways enough with the excuses, here it is: http://soundcloud.com/humble-trembles/miles-davis-the-cool-cover/s-S7Vhr

I am going to retry Old White Lincoln Soon. I have the rhythm down perfect according to an acoustic version of it.

I enjoyed! Loved hearing you belt out in that last chorus.

Spring break starts tomorrow for me (any other college folk on break?) so I should hopefully record a few covers! Not actually sure though - any suggestions or songs people want to hear (besides Biloxi)?
