Help with spammers and admin

Can someone please get rid of the spammers, like Justinboot and his 28 messages (as well as deleting the crap), because I am tired of following up new post emails only to see this kind of rubbish

I sent him and mean PM last night! Yeah that shit is sooo annoying!

K, will look into it, just getting back on board here. Can you try and keep track of spammers and send me their usernames please?

Hi all:

So, I've finally settled down in Quebec City after 5 years in Doha, and now have the time and energy to help make this board as good as it can be. So, kindly help us out by PMing us any spam that you see, or any offensive or inappropriate behaviour.

Spammers will automatically be deleted, and as for the other cases, the admin will discuss what actions to take depending on the issue.

I guess it's time to finally realize that this forum is growing and now we are prone to spammers and other problems!

So, thanks for your patience, and have a good summer, and thanks to you all for helping to make this forum the awesome place that it is.

just a quick suggestion, if guests couldnt post they i think wed be able to cut down a lot on alll the spam weve been getting recently.... thatd be sweet im sorry i dont have a question mark key but theres supposed to be a question mark on the title of hte post

i totally agree. if someone wants to say something, then just register, it takes 30 seconds. that way all spam can be avoided...

seconded. but sometimes spammers will make accounts, and get in that way. it would probably cut down on the recent burst of it, but just saying they still could make an account sometimes.

Agreed. Some of the spammers make accounts anyways, but it would help a little.

Most people who legitimately post here as guests end up registering anyways because they try to post a link and it doesn't work.

OK - it's done, you have to sign in and have a username now to post any messages.

spammers make accounts, but it's possible for an administrator to ban them and delete their account, which will stop them for posting (at least as long as they make another account...). but if it is a guest, then they can post whatever they want how many times they want... see the boots guy for example...
in my opinion, it's the best thing than can be done to reduce the number of spammers... unless someone has any other idea...

using my newly awarded admin powers, I have now deleted the other 8,000 posts, at least in those main forum threads where our boots Guest was the last poster

Looks like we may just have beaten the spammers ... for now!

I cleaned up what I saw, but there is still more junk there! Anyway, we're off to a good start! Keep it up SNSN, and now my avatar is an actual pic of me!
