Had this been a week ago, I could have offered a ticket signed by Brian... My parents threw it out with a load of other paper last friday I'll look through my collection and see if there's anything else I have double of.
Last night I had a pretty weird dream: I was going to a pizza place. With Frank Turner. We orded some pizzas. The man who delivered those. Were Dave Hause. Frank had asked me ask Dave when his gig starts. Dave answered. Sounded and looked completely stoned. And get back to doing more pizzas. Next night. We go with like 30 people to the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Dave comes out from the field and starts playing. I dont actually remember anything from the gig. Next day. I saw him in a library. Dressed as a woman. I say "Hi" and this time he sounds like hes on speed or something. He just keeps talking and talking and the only thing I get from that is that hes going to live in Finland as a woman the next year. Then he got into his limousine and disappeared...

I love the mega bundle but hate to think what it would cost to ship over to the UK!

Is anyone on here going to the Dave Hause gig at Manchester Gorilla on November 16? I am most likely going on my own and thought it would be cool to meet up with any DSS members going to the show.

Thanks for that post! Yeah that is a crazy amount for postage shame as I really love the T's and having a Dave Hause glass to drink from would be sweet!

Why can't Dave get the Loved Ones going again? His solo stuff just isn't the same. At all.
It's been awhile though hasn't it?^^ I mean I haven't been paying THAT close attention but I've been a fan of Dave's for the last 2 years and don't recall any Loved Ones shows in that time.
Personally I think his solo stuff is just a different kind of awesome so I have no issue with that. I also think he's improving as a writer. I just wish he'd play with a full band in general. Any band will do. Dave's awesome by himself, but he'd sound even better if we got to hear all the parts of his songs when he plays live (solo or Loved Ones). When Benny, Alex L., and someone else came out and played Jane with him at Webster Hall, it just took the song to another level.
There was one in Paris this year, I remember seeing it advertised.
From what I've heard from Devour (We Could Be Kings, Autism Vaccine Blues and Great Depression) his writing has definitely improved from Resolutions... However, I'd still say that I enjoy the lyrics of The Loved Ones more than most of his solo stuff. I'd agree that he's awesome to see by himself! It'd be amazing to see him with a band but I doubt he'll ever bring a band to the UK due to cost.

Damn, that's awesome! Not sure if I prefer it acoustically though... Either way, probably one of my favourite songs by him. All the religious references are great; definitely more Loved Ones-y than Resolutions. Thanks for posting, I wouldn't have seen that otherwise.

For those who missed tickets for the record release shows, Dave is playing at Free at Noon on 10/4. Free and at noon, who would have thunk it? The RSVP goes up soon. Watch this site. http://xpn.org/events/free-at-noon

Does anyone know if Dave Hause will have a backing band for his UK/Europe tour in November? His new record sounds like it would suit the full band much more rather than just him and a guitar. I think he is great on his own but I would love to see him play the songs as they sound on record. There would be a much more fun atmosphere too with a full band. As it is a headline tour I am really hoping there will be a band. What do you guys think?

A friend of mine asked him on twitter and he replied that he will come alone. Unfortunately. I suppose it's too expensive to bring a band ...
