Acoustic Version of American Slang for free ...

Sideonedummy germany is giving away an exlclusive acoustic version of American Slang for free: http://sideonedummy.de/americanslang-gratis-song/
Site is in german but basically it says the following things:

1. - Upload a picture of you
2. - Get back a framed pic of yourself
3. - Upload the framed pic as your profile pic on Facebook/Myspace/etc
4. - Mail the link to Sideonedummy
-> Get the free song ...

Assuming it just means a digital framing kinda thing...not sending you a physical frame. I was confused at first.

It takes almost no effort. You submit a photo and the website gives you a "framed" version that looks like one of these.

Nevertheless I love that version more than the other one. Love how Brian "screams" the vocals. Sounds so cool and the chorus with the female voice reminds me of "blue jeans and white t-shirt"

I wonder too. I assume no-one has the official bonus track yet.

And 'no', I won't upload it, as I think it's a cool idea and everyone who wants it now should do the pic thing.

I did this:

I have now compared them, and the free version from S1G Germany is the same as the pre-order iTunes bonus version.

so basically we're getting a free song for doing a little bit of promo instead of buying the whole album again in order to get it... sounds good

EDIT: no it doesn't, i'm answering myself. it's just the KEXP version of the song... quality is pretty much the same
