just got my Pre-order of AS from sideone in the mail

Mine came in today, I wish I owned a turntable

Just wondering when everybody pre-ordered. I didn't get mine in until May 11th, and I haven't gotten mine yet.
It's not a huge cause for concern (I realize the street date isn't until next week), just curious.

I pre-orded the day it was available. Just got it now!

The cd comes with a card to download American Slang for a digital copy. It comes in as 128kps, which it sounds good in but I am a junkie for playing music at 320kps.

Got my CD and t-shirt today!

got my S1D vinyl today! not listening to it until my essay is done! motivation!


also anyone questioning why pre-orders are coming now when they were ordered a month or so ago, just because its pre-ordered doesnt mean it comes as soon as it can. please dont take this in a douche way. just text is hard to convey speech through.

Yeah, pre-order just means you'll get it earlier than stores and usually a good deal for purchasing early. With that said, I'm bummed mine hasn't come yet.

No offense taken. I was just wondering because these things can be random sometimes (I've never pre-ordered from S1D before, but at in my admittedly limited experience, ship date has tended to vary by label).

Yea, I've had pre-orders come as early as a week early like this, or 3 weeks after the release date

The 'grey' is the teal-grey-black one I assume. I know 3 or 4 people that pre-ordered that got that.

I'm assuming all the vinyl was sent to SideOne from the plant. Somehow they accidentally mixed up the colors and have sent out the wrong versions to some people. It was not intentional.

The grey is a more of a grey/black/white mix. The other two versions are black/green split with white splatter and black/white split with green splatter. There are pictures of all three of these on ebay already.

Nah it doesn't. I'm hoping iTunes has it for a dollar but I hate buying cds/vinyls and not getting every song.

I got my vinyl today, too. Preordered it from the good folks at Flight13.

i live in jersey and STILL have not received my vinyl from S1D. i pre-ordered it the day it was available...got my poster a while back. anyone else still waiting for vinyl? at this point im not getting it any earlier than the release date with the exception of maybe monday delivery. WTF.

Just got mine. A little over a week. Nice.

Did you choose the cheaper shipping option? If so, Media Mail can take a week or more depending on where you live. I just got mine today and that was the reason. If not, maybe shoot SideOne an email. My mailer had a tracking number on it, they might be able to tell you more info. Of course, they'll probably say "let us know if you don't get it by Tuesday".

In NJ as well, and pre-ordered the vinyl from S1D and have yet to get mine. I'm hoping tomorrow....er now today really.

Do you mean the vinyl comes with a card? My CD definitely didn't have a download card...

Postie has just delivered my vinyl copies from Banquet this morning and expecting the CD to arrive while I'm at work. So annoyed I don't have time to listen now, if I wasn't on leave for 2 weeks from Thursday I'd be pulling a sickie to hear it.
