Right then. I'm James, 17 from England. Got introduced to TGA by my Dad when he bought "The '59 Sound", he went off them so I'm keeping the TGA love going in this house anyway Wink

Going to see them for the first time in June, psyched for that.

Favourite TGA Songs:

Sink Or Swim: We Came To Dance, The Navesink Banks, Red In The Morning

The '59 Sound: Film Noir, Old White Lincoln, Here's Looking At You Kid

American Slang: The Diamond Church Street Choir, Boxer, Orphans, The Spirit of Jazz

Also into sport, guitar and photography. Studying for A-Levels at the moment. And its sunny outside. Hooray.

So that's me, hello to all Smile

Scouting for guitar tabs for the newer songs, one of the posts on the tabs section popped up.

How long have you been playing a guitar? Do you play in a band?

Hey James,
Judging by your username, it sounds as if you are a Springsteen fan! I'm new here too! LOL. Hey all... Icon_lol

I imagine you are one of the only forumites that would NOT list 1930 as one of their SOS faves! Interesting , but I understand there's no bad songs, just some better than others. Welcome.

Ah, well actually my opinion has changed on that now, because before with 1930 I knew it was a brilliant song but didn't know the meaning behind the closing lyrics properly and felt it was a bit odd. Now that I do know, it has changed the song for me and would now probably be in the top 2, let alone 3.
