DSS to Interview Benny!

So a few weeks ago I asked for questions to submit for an interview with Brian, well things went so well that we are doing it again, but this time with Benny!

Once again, I will not be asking any of my own questions, so the quality of the interview is up to you! Come up with the questions that you have always wanted to know and have fun!

How are you going to go about choosing a set for the latest tour and can you give us any clues on old songs that may be returning or cover versions?

Will you be checking out other bands at the festivals you are performing at and if so who?

Whats your favourite song, as a drummer, to perform and whats your least favourite? (if there is such a thing).

Forgive me if these have already been answered or if people already know the answers (please respond to this post if you do).

How did you get into drumming? A story about getting his first drum set and how he learned to play would be rad!

Where in NJ is he from?

What's his favorite Bruce song?

Favourite city/country to play in? Whether it's the fans or the city itself.

What musical influences have you been able to share with your band mates and what have you gotten from them?

If you could swap places with Brian for a song and do the vocals while he does the drums, which song would you pick?

Have you written (or played a big role in writing) in the lyrics for any of your songs? If not, do you have any desire to do so on some future album?

From Sink or Swim to American Slang, how has your approach to drumming changed along with the band's sound evolving?

Which does he like better, longer hair or shaven? I have hair similar to his and I've considered shaving it so I need opinions!

Any plans for an album (or shows) from Spiro Agnew?

The first question on this thread was similar to my first question, also: Do they see the sets expanding with more songs to draw from, or should we still expect about 85 minutes?

Potential follow-up: How do they decide on the comfortable number of songs to play at the shows?

Do you enjoy playing other genres? If so, do you ever apply these genres to the kit for TGA?

hello everyone. long-time fan, long-time lurker.

chose to register because there is something i've been wondering about for a while. benny mentioned in an interview loving nas and other 90s NYC hip hop, and how if you listen closely you can hear those influences in some of his drumming. i'm wondering if he can cite a specific song or beat where one would notice that influence.

How do you like to spend your time the day of a show?

Are number of the definitive factor in choosing what countries to play on a European tour?

Do you see Japan/Australia and even South Africa as viable places for you guys to go play at this stage in your career?

I'm pretty sure it's been answered just can't think of it right now. If anyone knows already, feel free to answer.

I have more of a statement;

Thanks for having a show lined up for San Jose in July, you have saved many a baby from getting punched in the face. (Talked to him on myspace a while back about playing a show near me, don't know if he'll remember but whatever lol)

Also, what are your thoughts on Neil Peart, being a drummer and all?

I know it all depends on the label at the end of the day and on how good the new album does, but are there any big plans for Europe? Not only the UK and Germany, but maybe a more bigger tour that would go to more countries for a longer time? Like Luxembourg maybe? =P

And also if you could spend a day with anybody in the whole world, dead or alive, who it would be and why?

why the change from the "live fast, die awesome" bass drum to shaft and bronson?

not that i'm complaining, both are badass. just don't know why they did it.
