I'm really getting into the first album at the moment. Hometown Blues is probably my favourite.
Hometown Blues is one of my favorite Tom Petty songs!
Have you listened to Damn the Torpedoes yet? That is my favorite of his albums, but they are all great, solo and with the Heartbreakers.
Obviously I know Refugee, but I haven't actually listened to the whole album yet. Will make it the next thing I do related to music .

I just saw that Regina Spektor's going to open up for him for a few shows, one of which being in ATL. That's a weird pairing, but DAMMIT IT MAKES ME WANT TO BE A HARDCORE TOM PETTY FAN JUST FOR THAT SHOW.

That's the same night as I'm seeing Pearl Jam in Manchester. Tried to get tickets for 18th but didn't work out. It would be some week in June - Petty, Pearl Jam and Springsteen!

Is anyone familiar with Tom Petty's side project from 2008 (I think) called Mudcrutch? Some of the songs are pretty good, especially "Scare Easy" and "The Wrong Thing To Do".

We decided not to go. Got to save some money, maybe I'll go to Way Out West instead.

Cool!
I really wanted to see them as well but tickets were 75e. I can't afford that, not even for good ol' Tom.

Just downloaded Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers greatest hits I owe a lot to Brian for introducing me to new bands I would never had previously listened to.

Huge fan of Tom, never thought I would see him, actually I thought I would have to travel to the states to see him, but in just over a month, I get to see him play his first Irish date in almost 22 years...so pumped for this.

I'll be paying for this month for years to come, but meh, lifes too short, and it's Tom!
I honestly couldn't pick a fave song, just such a feel good artist with a huge array of songs.
