| So I seem to be one of the few americans here, lol. Have any of you cats living overseas bought the LP from a UK based mailorder yet, someone like greenhell or...whatever. Get in touch with me if you have. My copies came from vinyl collective, but I have a question for anyone with a physical copy in their hands.
thanks! | |

| thats who I was hoping would get back to me, he hooked me up with a gold 7" as well, though I had a couple coming from overseas anyways. I know greenhell is waiting on shirts before they start selling them, but they never returned my email, so no clue... | |

| Greenhell isn't a UK distributor I'm pretty sure that it was based in Germany. In simple terms what exactly are you looking for Dustin? | |

| Hello All. A question for UK based fans, where is the best place to order GLA vinyl online. Up to now I've just fallen on releases in stores and via eBay, but I'd like a more consitent source. I see lots of US based sites, but would obviously pay a high P&P price (if they'ed even ship to Blighty?) I'm after the Cash tribute and the Gold SorS demo, but am perplexed as to where to purchase from? Cheers SY | |

| I buy a shit load of vinyl and live in the UK I get a lot from http://www.vinylcollective.com/ which is based in US but the shipping rates are not ridiculous.
In the UK http://www.banquetrecords.com/ is a great store. The guys are real friendly and whenever you make an order they send a handwritten note with a band you might like on it.

| Im going to preorder the Bronx record of Banquet as I cant afford the one direct from them because of the currency rates at the moment the shipping is far to much.
When I pre-ordered my copy of the 59' sound it was only 18 quid (with shipping and the tee.) The bronx record poster and tee will end up being £28.

| ^ Im still hoping to get a reply email from White Drugs about cheaper shipping, but it doesn't look like it'll happen. the shirt and poster are still tempting....
also, another UK store i recommend is www.roughtrade.com. Not actually bought anything from them online, but the store is great and there's loads on their site.

Yup placed my order for bright grey by the Steal and the new Bronx album. Got it the next day got the Steal album and a nice handwritten note saying that the Bronx CD is on the way as soon as they get it back in stock. Nice guys. Cheap and seem reliable.

| Must admit up to now I've never used Banquet; mail order I tend to use Amulete, Rough Trade, Sister Ray, BabyFeelgood, Avalanche, etc. But I've been less loyal of late and tend to shop about. In the UK many of the best record shops (both online and with actual stores) are associated with the Coalition UK ... http://www.thecoalitionuk.co.uk/index.htm A new indie record store openned near where I live recently, so I'm giving them my business at the moment (although a tad more expensive) in the hope it will remain open and improve. They stock minimal vinyl, but I've asked them to order me in a view things so perhaps they'll take the hint? | |

| Do the GLA sell vinyl at shows? I didn't notice previously, but someone referenced it on another thread today. Bit of a bugger if they do as it's cost me a bomb to get things posted from the States up to now. | |

| Yep, you can get their vinyls at shows, usually one colour of each album then some demos and singles | |
