My Friend Kyle

I apologize first hand if this is deemed in the wrong thread.

Early Wednesday my friend Kyle fell from an elevated walkway. He hit his head and suffered massive head trauma. On Wednesday afternoon he passed away.

Last weekend we were heading to see Flogging Molly and had a discussion of our favorite concerts. He said finally seeing Gaslight Anthem at Lollapalooza last year might be his. We also had a great time seeing you at your Minnesota show in October.

I've been listening to '59 Sound' all week. I'm not really sure who I'm writing this to, but should the band happen to see it, I just wanna say this:

Thank you so much for your music. Its been the soundtrack to many memories that mean a lot to me. Your music helps a lot more people than you may realize.

wow, that's really awful. im sorry to hear about your friend...good to know that at least their music has been some comfort to you.

I did a quick google and found the news release on Kyle's death. That's a shame, my heart goes out for you. Music can be the tree you cling to during the storm.
