| There have been a few calls for a dedicated photography threat, given how many of us pursue this as a hobby or (semi-)professionally, so here it is. And while I'm at it, I might as well make up a few rules: a) please post photos in the thread itself, rather than just providing a link; b) please post no more than four photos in one post; c) when replying to a post, please don't quote the photos themselves; d) don't make your photos too large. | |

| I guess you could say I'm semi-professional or whatever. But every time I have a photography job, I hate it and then don't touch my camera for a long time. It's just one of those things that I can only enjoy to enjoy it. If it becomes a job, I don't like it.
I'll see if I have any pics later.

| i really love the second photo steadynow2
it totally reminded me of monet, i don't know the english name of the picture i had in mind. best about it is the structure of the surface, it looks a little surreal. |

There's something very Sci-Fi about the mood of the last two; Mad Max the one, Blade Runner the other.

There's something very Sci-Fi about the mood of the last two; Mad Max the one, Bladerunner the other. I thought Blade Runner to one of my fave films. I dont have much stuff uploaded but im working on it my main photography loves are documentary, travel and Live music. I really dig the magnum photographers and draw a lot of my inspiration from them check it out their photo essays and video podcasts in the inmotion section http://www.magnumphotos.com Anyway my own shots. First is taken in Hong Kong these guys where playing a weird game and let me watch and photograph them. Next one is the singer of the Levellers at Larmertree Festival gig photography is probably one of the few things im really good at Afrocelt Soundsystem this photo has got me a lot of press I will up some more latter and overload you with band shots!

| I love b&w photos and those are gorgeous. I've been thinking about going out and taking pictures with my camera set to black and white just so I'll think about my shots in a different way.
Obviously you can just convert to b&w later but I think limiting myself might help me be more creative. Most of my experience is with sports like football so I want to get more practice just walking around and taking pictures of random cool things.

I think your work is fantastic. I used to photograph people, but it's all in paper format and needs scanning. Also good to know you are still using a proper darkroom.
