Whole '59 Sound in Acoustic?

Hi, I was trying to put together a complete album of the '59 sound in Acoustic, however I've had a bit of trouble with a couple of tracks and then saw that someone on here had tried to compile it.

Has anyone on here had any success with it?

There is no acoustic Cowgirls

my brother and I jam that song sometimes though with him on the electric guitar and me and the acoustic

Even Cowgirls is the only one I've never found.

There are studio versions (from radio shows etc.) of almost all the songs although you have to go to live boots to get a few like Meet Me By the River's Edge. Also I'm not sure about Film Noir.

By my reckoning, I've got sessionylike acoustics in:

Great Expectations x2
The '59 Sound x2
Old White Lincoln
Casanova Baby
High Lonesome
Here's Lookin' At You Kid
The Backseat x2
Miles Davis & the Cool

That leaves
Film Noir (I read somewhere on here that someone had it, but there was no download link )
Patient Ferris Wheel (no idea!)
Cowgirls (not done apparently)
Meet Me By The River's Edge (possibly a live one)

He's done Film Noir acoustic...search it, you'll find it on Youtube.

You can find River's Edge acoustic on youtube as well, and he's done Ferris Wheel, too. He played it at the first Court Tavern show, which was put up on Vimeo in its entirety and ripped by Tobi on this forum

Can't someone ask for cowgirls on the next solo show then?

Wow that's a great version

I know it's a poor substitute for the real thing, but I've received a request to do Even Cowgirls Get the Blues in acoustic form. I'll post it either here or in the TGA Covers thread when I do it (probably Friday). Again, I'm not saying I'm a good replacement for Brian, but someone asked me to record this acoustically for this very reason (he hasn't done it...yet).

So yeah, thought I'd throw it out there.

Anyone have a link for the acoustic versions?

I love this video of The Patient Ferris Wheel, the atmosphere, crowd and the end, goosebumps. Especially love how Brian's smiling when the crowd starts 'whohoo-ing'.
