| Anyone ever wondered why ga never plays red at night? And I'm also curious as to why they never throw some This charming man in their sets. |

| My friend from jersey said that he thinks they played it with the good old war, but he's not sure. I've never seen them play it and i would really love to. As far as the this charming man stuff, I think that they probably just feel that they've outgrown that aterial. | |

| On my iPod I have one solo version from the bootleg: "Live At The Annandale Hotel (7/30/08)" I think that's Australia, but I can't seem to find where I got the bootleg from... I can't find it in the master list. Brian played it as a solo encore before the rest of the band came back on stage and played We're Getting A Divorce. I really liked that recording, so I put it on my Gaslight Anthem/Brian Fallon rarities mix as the closer. Check it out it's almost a year old now and I still love it. https://thegaslightanthem.forumotion.com/audio-f6/brian-fallon-christmas-compilation-p6266.htm | |

| There was some show that was recorded professionally when The '59 Sound came out where for the encore Brian plays it. He uses his telecaster instead of an acoustic, but there's no distortion or anything. Can't remember any info about the show though. |

| Brian and Good old war played "Way over yonder in the minor key" @ the stone pony may 8th. Red at Night is based on that BillyBragg/Wilco (mermaid avenue) song. essentially the same thing with different words. | |

| The Annandale Hotel set was recorded in Sydney, Australia as a video by moshcam.com. It was only ripped as mp3 recently. In this recording TGA played Red at Night, as well as We're Getting A Divorce. I downloaded it from a link off this forum. I did a search but can't find where. | |

| But I can't see Brian denying that if you asked him. I'm sure it's influenced and not intended to be a copy. | |

| It's natural to to get them muddled. It was source of anger for me on the least favorite song thread. Until I realized everyone was talking about Red In The Morning. | |

the song is actually Way Over Yonder in the Minor Key, Billy Bragg's version is the most famous, but it was written by Woody Guthrie

I remember Brian saying something beforehand about how they haven't played it in a while. Here's a video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AnUwklg_69M
