| I liked it but I'm not a huge fan of the vocal style. That's always been a problem for me...vocals put me off in too many styles of music I would otherwise enjoy. | |

Which of course makes me even more gutted I'm missing the Restorations/Fake Problems/Menzingers tour but I guess I'll live.
But seriously. There is something in the greater Philly area water Colin. At least for the next week (or whenever I get to hear the new National record) my top three albums this year are all Philly bands. | |

| So yeah The Future is Canceled is still one of the best albums of the year and still surprises me with each listen. Haven't decided if I like it or TWFM more but those two are certainly the best so far.
But yeah, such a phenomenal record that really raises the standard for what punk rock bands can make. I think I might actually like it more than OTIP at this point. | |
