Wow, some amazing collections here!

I’m a newbie, having recently rekindled my love affair with vinyl after quite a number of years, and naturally decided to start collecting my favourite band (who I don’t think even existed last time I bought vinyl on a regular basis!). I’m starting by getting one nice edition of each album/single, I’m loving all the different colours and patterns that are around. I suspect I will go beyond that though, I have been known to be a bit of a completist. I’m already starting to see second colours and thinking that’s pretty/that’s a bargain/today day’s got a ‘y’ in it so why not?

I’m seriously considering showing my partner this thread to show him that I’m far from the worst, maybe next time he laughs at me when I get what he calls the ‘vinyl reminder’ on my phone (eBay reminder)!

got some new records. very happy about the all aboard and the white senor and the queen 7"
if anyone is searching for the sos black 1st press, its on ebay usa. i dont have any more money to spend for records. also awaiting the get hurt split.

Nice scores there. How much did you end up paying for Senor white?

That's a funny story. I think i was really really lucky. I bought it from discogs for i think 35 dollar including shipping.
I had it in my wantlist and one night i was awake i got an email that somebody listed it for that low price. I thought i' ll give it a try and maybe 10 % chance that it's really the white one. There are a lot people that lists records wrong on discogs. Some weeks ago i bought the pink all aboard and what i got was the splatter pink black. Now i have it twice.
And i don' t know if i should feel bad or sorry because someone obviously had no idea what senor variant he had So that's the story. i really couldn't belive it when i opened the package! But I invested a lot of money in the 7 inches i didn't had and also in the get hurt split and the all aboard lps.

That's incredible. I wouldn't feel bad if I were you. If you hadn't gotten it someone esle would have.

Just my luck, bought one from Discogs for £170 in January after searching for 4yrs.Then one turns up for $35!!
Glad it went to a serious Gaslight collector though.

Well that beats my 'purple Led Zep 4 for £20' story by a country mile. Good work!

Thanks for the tip. I've been watching this for weeks through multiple price decreases and the exchange rate moving in my favour, and I finally decided this morning that the price was right! Just got to wait for international delivery now...

Well I finally got my last two pressing of SOS, so that's a full set!  Still looking for that latest Elsie, and I'm a few guest appearances short, but pretty pleased with this batch.

Is this how people feel when they've just finished running a marathon??  

That's so absurd, in so many ways. Cool that you have all of them, mind blowing that that many variants got produced.
