my [your] Gaslight Anthem audio collection

i really don't know what my goal is . i started to collect one of each record, so i could listen to it. my first record was a euro sos. then i wanted to get the '59 sound when it came out and my love grew. i had no idea that there were a lot of people collecting tga vinyl.
i try to get records at a good price, i' m not willing to pay every amount. but i think it's getting harder every year, because there are more and more people want to have it. i try to get 2 or 3 new gaslight records a month, so you see it will never end.
now i decided to collect the euro pressings of sos, for me it is where it all started ! i know that my collection seems weird cause there is nothing complete but thats how it developed. i don' t know if thats a good or a bad thing...

Here's my "complete" horrible crowes collection. Only thing missing is the UK black troubadour that you had to be "lucky" to get. But If anyone has one they want to throw my way that would be awesome!

Have you tried just ordering a black copy from a European distro?

If you know of a place let me know but, banquet for example, most over seas places I thought only knew they were getting the Orange. If I remember right no one actually knew the black existed. It was mixed in with the Orange copies and people started recieving black who thought they ordered the orange. And most places, I'm told, have no way of knowing if what they are shipping is black. They obviously won't open a new record just to check on color.

Yes it would be nice to have that last copy and a true complete collection. At the same time, it's black. Not the worst thing to be missing.

I would try emailing the guys at greenhell. They're pretty helpful and might know if their copies are black or orange.

i have the copy without the silkscreen , never seen this one up for sale, thanks for sharing.

I got a Shirt of Tga's show in berlin on helloween, 60 made just for that Show, its pretty cool!

let me get this straight, you have 17 copies of Sink or Swim? That's pretty impressive - man, you're who the record company is targeting when they run small pressing batches of limited variants though!

hmm i know that
gaslight is the only band i am collecting vinyl of. so thats okay for me i like to have new varients, and i am not able to save money at the moment, so i like new releases and i prefer that to spending so much on maybe the first press.

I called it a day on Sink , with the release of the last pair from Gunnar , fair play to him , I can understand Gaslight being a money cow for him to milk , you cant blame him . apart from maybe the first half a dozen releases the rest are not worth dot. I can understand you wanting every colour , I did untill recently aswell.
