There`s some tools and plugins for firefox out there to record headers and stuff like that ... in this case it was extremely easy, just used the Downloadhelper plugin for Firefox ,it can copy the links of streaming media to the clipboard ... it is a really really useful plugin:

cool. I use mediacatcher sometimes, but doesn't work for all streams. no myspace, no bbc 1 radio or other more complex streaming sites

Sure it won´t work for those sites, myspace uses rtmp and advanced, secure stream, all those "mediacatchers" only look at the traffic and only can tell you if there is really clearly a file played ... it`s the same with bbc1, they use a real media stream ... both those formats right now can only be recorded ...
